Hi guys, so today I am going to show you the fabulous stuff I received from Lisa Eldridge. As a part of her giveaway I received a special little parcel in which she included quite a few under eye concealers since that is my biggest problem when it comes to make up.
Firstly, I discovered this from my mailbox. And then started weeping. Literally weeping since it was the kindest thing everyone had ever done to me and I just couldn’t believe my luck.
And while I was crying, I started to open the package. Sorry if the pictures are a bit of a mess as so was I when I made them.
A small letter from her which just said to email her once I had received everything OK. I put this on my wall:D
Now, since I have tried all of these products for a while now, I can give you some overviews..
Caudalie Vinoperfect Fluide Perfection Éclat Day Perfecting Fluid SPF15
It is a face primer that smells sooooo good. What I have heard from Lisa is that this is incredibly antiallergenic and suits most skin types. It really makes my face smoother and nicer to apply make up on. I don’t want to waste it too much so I mostly use it on my under eyes and cheeks, since I really want the concealer to stick and the pores on my cheeks to appear smaller and be more filled. It just smells so good, I cannot describe it.
Lierac Diopti Cerne Anti-Cernes Teinte double-action tinted correction for under eye dark circles
This has a very light coverage and is supposed to minimalize the dark circles. I use this when I’m not really into doing any make up or when I just don’t have the time. Usually after my fitness classes, since I just do my brows and under eyes then.
VICHY DermaBlend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream-Stick in 12 Opal
This one I have used the most out of all the concealers I received. Very high-coverage, easy to blend, just absolute love.
Lisa used DermaBlend foundation in her Acne covering film.
Bobby Brown Creamy Concealer Kit
These concealer kits include a very creamy concealer and a powder to set the concealer, sadly no brushes are included. I got these in Ivory and Porcelain, Porcelain is way too light, Ivory is more like it but still a little pale. I have found them quite difficult to work with as my under eyes require quite a bit of concealing and well if I start to pile the product on, it just gets very cakey once I apply the powder.
Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eye shadow in Emerville and Epatant
These are creamy, almost mousse like eye shadows. Emerville is on the left and Epatant on the right. These are just brilliant! Gorgeous little things. Now I realise why people buy Chanel and other luxurious brands, they are just life’s little treasures. And boy, do these work well.. I have worn Emerville to school (did my make up at 7.30 AM) and to my fitness class after that where I literally sweat like a pig and later when I came home some 13 hours later I still had a visible wash of colour on my lids. When I have the money, I would very much like to get Illusoire as well. Actually all of the colours are just excellent.. Santa, can you hear me?? They are very shimmery, mind you. Which is why I do not wear Epatant to school or during the day, I would just be a greyish-green glitter bomb, well maybe not if I wore it as a liner, but still it is not for the shy even on a night out.
And if you want to see Lisa using the Chanel shadows, look here.
Chanel Nail Colour in Quartz and Peridot
I have already shown you Peridot, the most awesome shade I have ever held in my hands. Quartz is also a superb colour, doesn’t seem much at first glance but believe me, it is worth the Chanel name. And again, they make me want to save the money to buy one nail polish instead of food and other necessities. These last fairly long, Quartz is a bit trickier to apply though. Peridot requires 2 layers for opacity, Quartz is completely opaque with 3 very thin layers.
So this is it for that package.
Have a nice week!
