Last night, when I tried to prepare this post in my head, I found out that as much as I hate Christmas.. I love make-up. Which is why my eyes had to look fabulous on this extremely annoying day. Luckily this Christmas madness is now over and we all can return to our normal lives. For me it’s starting the day with a question: “Which eye shadow I should use today?” Well.. now I’m lying. 25th of December was actually the last time I used a eye shadow or proper make-up. And luckily I tried to capture my artwork. Enjoy!
For my face I used Artdeco Double Finish powder cream foundation in light cashmere, Artdeco Camouflage Cream in beige apricot, Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in Sandstorm (004).
For the eyes, I applied Teeez! eye shadow in Outta Control 02 all over the lid, then covered it with a silver eye shadow. Then I used a black eye shadow for the outer corners and dispersed it a little. After that I added a line of L’oreal Super Liner in Silver Black near my eyelashes and also partly covered the black eye shadow with it to make it more concrete and this way it lasts longer. I also used a little white eye shadow on my upper eyelid. For my lashes I used L’oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Extra-Black mascara. Actually later I added Artdeco Glam Stars Shimmer Cream nr 3 to make it more glittery, but that was after I took the photos.
Actually Artdeco Glam Stars Shimmer Cream is a product I also wanted to talk about. I got it as a Christmas present and it’s simply amazing!
First of all, it’s a MUST HAVE if your mornings are as busy as mine are. You can just use it as an eye shadow and because the texture is very soft, it takes only few seconds to apply. Mine is silver so it’s both shiny and humble at the same time and that’s why it’s perfect for everyday make-up. More than that you can basically use it wherever you like. It just gives your make-up that little something which is sometimes missing.
The only downside is that because it’s so soft and smooth the glitter might get stuck and that’s just not nice. But other than that it’s one of my favourites.
